Established in June 1985, the Croatan Quilters Guild is a warm and welcoming community where creativity meets tradition. Our guild brings together quilting enthusiasts of all skill levels to share knowledge, foster friendships, and celebrate the art of quilting. Through workshops, programs, and community projects, we inspire and support one another in creating beautiful works that tell stories, preserve heritage, and bring joy. Whether you're an experienced quilter or just starting out, the Croatan Quilters Guild invites you to join us and be part of a vibrant quilting journey.

Guild Activities

The Croatan Quilters Guild offers a variety of activities designed to inspire creativity, improve skills, and strengthen our community. Community Outreach

As a non-profit organization, we are committed to sharing our knowledge and skills with the community as well as our members. Our dedication to giving back is evident in our ongoing programs and partnerships that extend beyond the guild itself.

One of our key initiatives is creating and donating quilts to various non-profit organizations within Craven County and Eastern North Carolina. These handcrafted quilts bring warmth and comfort to those in need and demonstrate our commitment to supporting local causes and charities. Recipients of our donated quilts include hospitals, shelters, and community centers that serve vulnerable populations.

Additionally, we contribute to the enrichment of the Havelock Public Library by donating a quilt book or a quilt magazine subscription each year. This ensures that quilting resources are accessible to the wider community, inspiring future generations of quilters and fostering a shared love for this timeless art form.

The Croatan Quilters Guild is dedicated to fostering a productive and creative environment for everyone passionate about quilting. Our mission is to provide education and inspiration through workshops, teaching sessions, and the sharing of knowledge that spans all aspects of quilting. Whether you're honing your skills or just beginning your quilting journey, our guild offers a welcoming space to learn, create, and connect with fellow quilting enthusiasts.

Dues are $25 per year.
